My first eFx Helmet :) Since its the 30th anniversary of Empire Strikes Back .. i just have to have this helmet. The efx helmets are so much better than the Rubies ... waaaayyyyyyy better!

Look what i found while wondering around .... Hasbro's Boba Fett electronic helmet (Below). I didnt realised it was out already. Its got a lot of different voice modes, but somehow it doesn't have a voice changer mode ... hhhmm but wait ...Boba doesn't talk anyway!!! hahahhaa.

Why the sudden urge for Toy Story?? for the matter of fact .. i dont really know. I havent even watch the 3rd movie yet, even Toy Story 2 i cant remember. Maybe coz they kinda look cool or maybe coz i have nothing else to buy .. i really dont know.

It all started during my Manila trip when i came across Woody and Buzz. Then i told myself, that's it! i'm just gonna get them two and nothing more from the Toy Story range. Then .... just recently someone brought me to ToyRus for a quick Toy Hunt ... the shelves were covered by Toy Story 3 stuffs, but i stuck to my morals and avoided them .... until ...we had a peak in the store room and saw REX. So i told myself "F#ck it!!". So since i've gotten REX i might as well get the others ... hahah so that's how it happened.

ps/ Still looking for Kent and Ham. Please give me a shout if u see them.

There's some pretty cool Lego stuff out now, like the Toy Story range & Prince of Persia. The StarWars range been out a long time now and i can always be able to stop myself from buying them ... until now! I've been a Lego fan for as long as i can remember. Used to have a whole town of them with the airport, police station and everything. But my old Lego collection had tragically fallen to the same faith as my old StarWars collections - sold by my evil sisters (haha not really evil lah) during a garage sale. Its the first Quarter of 2010 now ... and i can tell you guys that what i said earlier are all Bull. Somehow i over achieve my target and already bought myself 3 12inch figure in the space of 1 month and 4 more coming (pre-order).

Due to the lack of new StarWars & GiJoe 3" figures in the country, i've decided to check out the figures from the Marvel and DC universe range. The plan was to just get the main characters that i'm really familiar with, such as Batman, Green Lantern, Captain America, Iron Man, and Aquaman, Thor, Superman, Green Arrow, Spiderman and Flash. But somehow i get carried away (*as usual .. no surprise there!).

So to all the local toy shops out there .... pls pls pls bring the new starwars & Joes in ASAP, coz i cant afford anymore expansion to my current 3" Universe.

Finally completed my Custom 3" Panthro. Actually completed the whole body modification a few months ago, but only today did i start to paint it. I'm happy on how it turned out, not like my earlier Lion-O custom ... which ... lets just say it needs more modifications on it :)

For this custom Panthro, i've used Wolverine Weapon-X body, Sabertooth's arms and BlackPanther's head.

Next custom projects: Re-do Lion-O and start on She-Ra (Got the perfect action figure for it).

Preview: G.I.Joe Pursuit of Cobra

G.I. Joe's second movie "the Pursuit of Cobra" will be out later this year. I'm just hoping that its better than the first movie. Rise of cobra was good, funny and action packed .. but somehow it was lacking something .. the directing of the movie was so so. Enough about the movie, lets talk about the Toys!!! Some prototypes for the second movie are seen in various G.I.Joe forums and blogs, and i have to say .... they look pretty awesome. There will be a few improvements on popular G.I.Joe vehicles such as the VAMP, AWE Striker and the Sting Raider. There has been good reviews on the action figures as well. So lets just wait and see and save up on those $$$, coz we sure gonna need it (the Mech Suit will be my top priority buy).

Battle Packs: Kamino Conflict

Obi-Wan Kenobi meets the bounty hunter Jango Fett on Kamino, an encounter that ends in a fierce battle. Fett is suspicious of the Jedi and tries to escape with his son Boba before he can be detained by Obi-Wan. The underlying tension in their first meeting turns into open conflict as the two skilled warriors engage each other in combat on a rain-drenched platform ..... i vaguely remember this scene from SW Episode II: Attack of the Clones, i must have fallen asleep ... think its time to get the DVD and watch it again :)

A bit disappointed with this battle pack coz Jango is not well articulated, same goes to Lil Boba. Even Obi-Wan looks different (somehow reminded me of Lorenzo Lamas from Renegade .. haha .. remember him?). If it wasn't for the Lil Boba figure, i would have not bought this .. he made it all worth it.

A bit disappointed with the Hoth speeder bikes coz they dont collapse or dismantle like the old Endor speeder (to simulate collision/accident to the speeder) by a press of a button. Speeders are one of my favorite vehicles since i was a kid .... i can still remember Luke Skywalker being chase by the troopers in the battle of Endor .. that has to be one of the best scene in all the Star Wars series.

Millennium Falcon

Finally got my Millennium Falcon! ... one word to describe the Falcon, its HUGE!!!! This is the new Hasbro SW Legacy version and its at least 30% bigger than the old Kenner version. The original Kenner M.Falcon toy designer, Mark Boudreaux, was brought in by Hasbro to re-design this iconic ship ... and i think he did a good job of it. The Falcon consist of several bays/cabin - Training bay, Medical bay and the cockpit. Also included is the small shuttle ship which fits nicely on the side. I was impressed with all the gadget and lights that the Falcon possessed - the boarding ramp automatically opens complete with lights and sound effects, booster/hyperdrive & engine start-up sound & light effects, movie phrases (i.e. conversation between Han Solo and Chewbacca, etc) ... all this with a press of buttons located all over the ship.

As what Han Solo said "She may not look like much, but she's got it where it counts, kid"

Introducing the new kid on the blog ... Mr. Bokz.

My first full custom 3"action figure. Used all body parts from Wolverine Weapon-X. Hand-Made the Boba Fett helmet, flip-flops and shorts. Took me all night to paint Mr.Bokz coz i kept on smudging it. Note to self - let paint dry before adding second layer and make sure fingers are clean from paint to avoid getting unwanted marks on figure.

Got myself some Epoxy Putty and some other weathering kit today. Been thru some "how to custom your figures" tutorial online. Some are quite easy to do. I think the key to customizing are getting the right parts and your sculpting skills. I got a few characters/figures in mind that i want to make, but i haven't found the right parts for it yet.

Custom: Weathering

Trying out my hands on customizing my figures. Got myself a weathering kit, this basically makes the figure look like its worn out. The weathering kit should work wonders on vehicles, especially on Transformers.

Cant really see the weathering effect on the Viper above (ada lah sikit, banyak sudah ku taruh tu), but good enough. I know at this moment Spidey is testing out his first custom as well. He's going for a complete makeover .. i wont spoil the surprise, let Spidey do the unveiling. Saw a preview of it from his Tweet ... looks pretty awesome. i like! hehe.

Paid a visit to my mum's house and checked out my nephews' toys ... he's really into Transformers, Nerf and Bionicle. But only recently, he is now into Star Wars Lego. I was just talking to Spidey the other day that i wanted the Lego SW characters but not the vehicles and now i see my nephew actually playing with them ... those mini troopers are sooo cool.

(Below) I call this "the Paperbots". This was made by my nephew ... and its made out of PAPER!!! How cool is that!! He showed a similar one to me a couple of months ago, but it was just a normal paper robot (but good articulation ... i was already impressed back then) ... but the one shown below literally blew my head off, coz it can actually TRANFORM into a jet fighter. Just freakin awesome!! I asked him to make another one that looks like a SW Trooper. If its as awesome as this .. then i'll ask him to make me 20 more .. hahaha nothing wrong with child labour for making toys right??? hehe

Went Toy-Hunting with Spidey on saturday. We started of late, but .... lets just say that we hunted till there's no more bullets left. Visited GOFI6UER @ the Mall, we were fortunate that Mr.GoFigure himself was there .. and he told me great news that made me smile from ear to ear (lets just say that hopefully in 2 weeks time one my wishlist item will be fulfilled. Next we went to one of the local baby shop to check on the clones coz we complaint last week that the price tag was wrong (2x usual price). We found out that the price was still the same, so we complain again. After a few minutes of waiting (~20 mins), the supplier & shop supervisor finally clarified and apologized for their mistake. Yeay!!

We were almost on our way home, then Spidey pop the question "u sure u dont want to go to the mall again and watched B.Fett and Vader parading at GoFi6ure?" ... guess whats my answer was .... So off we went.

So all and all .. ammo depleted, body tired, but it was a great hunting day.

(Above) Clone Commander Thire and Yoda - SW Clone Wars. Commander Thire job was to protect Yoda during a mission to the Toydarian system. I guess he's good at it coz Yoda is still alive.

(Left to Right) Clone Trooper Denal, Clone Commander Thire and Clone Trooper Echo from SW Clone Wars. I just realize that they looked similar. I wonder if they are brothers or the missing triplets from John & Kate +8? They also reminded me of the 80's british boy band "BROS" hahhaaha.

(Below) Captain Rex & Echo. After Echo's first battle with commando droids, Captain Rex marks Echo's armor with the blood of a vicious creature that had attacked them; the bloody handprint is Rex way of recognizing Echo's transition from a "shiny" to a seasoned warrior.

(Below) Commander Gree - SW Clone Wars. He leads the Elite Corps and his armor bears the distinct markings of the 41st Elite Corps, a unit he nicknamed "Green Company".

(Below) Captain Argyus - SW Clone Wars. He's a member of the Senate Guard. He assisted in the transportation of captured Separatist leader Nute Gunray. But Argyus has a secret agenda that will jeopardize the successful completion of this important mission. ... hhmm i wonder whats his secret? Anyway, he kinda reminded me of the movie Gladiator coz of his Roman style helmet.

AT-ST, AT-AP & AT-AT

The AT-ST (All Terrain Scout Transport). These are used to protect and defend the slower AT-AT. They often featured in the Imperial Attack forces and during the Battle of Endor (Return of the Jedi), the local Ewok tribes captures and destroyed alot of these AT-ST. This AT-ST has great articulation in its legs and it fits 2 troopers inside (AT-ST Driver included when you purchase this AT-ST). Comes with an extra Canon Blaster (exchangeable with its front blaster).

The AT-AP (All Terrain Attack Pod). Fits 3 trooper. It was first deployed during the Clone wars. Actually can support itself by just 2 legs. The third leg is suppose to give maximum support when the troopers decided to shoot their canons at long distance targets.

Endor AT-AT (All Terrain - Armored Transport) from the Saga Collection. Comes with Biker scout and Driver. Similar to the old AT-AT but this one comes with a dirty look on its body and legs (like its been through the forest and killed all the Ewoks). The inside cabin is also different as it got some control screens (this is where you put the batteries). Also makes electronic sound and lights.

I need a display cabinet real bad. Currently my collections are either in the cupboard, on top of the cupboard, on the floor, in storage boxes, etc etc. I wonder if my mum in-law will let me use her crystal display cabinet in the dinning room???

These TIE Fighters were used by Biggs Darklighter and his mutineers to escape the Rand Ecliptic. Low on fuel, the group returned to the Ecliptic only to find it had been taken over by a Rebel cell led by Hobbie Klivian. The TIEs were then refitted with hyperdrives, astromech sockets, and ejection seats for a mission to steal X-Wings from Incom. Finally, in a bold statement of defiance, these formerly Imperial fighters were emblazoned with the Rebel Alliance symbol!
