He's finally done.

Above: Featuring G.I.Joe ROC Law & Order and Custom Panthro.

Finally completed my Custom 3" Panthro. Actually completed the whole body modification a few months ago, but only today did i start to paint it. I'm happy on how it turned out, not like my earlier Lion-O custom ... which ... lets just say it needs more modifications on it :)

For this custom Panthro, i've used Wolverine Weapon-X body, Sabertooth's arms and BlackPanther's head.

Next custom projects: Re-do Lion-O and start on She-Ra (Got the perfect action figure for it).

Preview: G.I.Joe Pursuit of Cobra

G.I. Joe's second movie "the Pursuit of Cobra" will be out later this year. I'm just hoping that its better than the first movie. Rise of cobra was good, funny and action packed .. but somehow it was lacking something .. the directing of the movie was so so. Enough about the movie, lets talk about the Toys!!! Some prototypes for the second movie are seen in various G.I.Joe forums and blogs, and i have to say .... they look pretty awesome. There will be a few improvements on popular G.I.Joe vehicles such as the VAMP, AWE Striker and the Sting Raider. There has been good reviews on the action figures as well. So lets just wait and see and save up on those $$$, coz we sure gonna need it (the Mech Suit will be my top priority buy).

Deep Six - "the loner"

Deep Six (File name: Malcolm R. Willoughby) is a real loner. he often engages in solitary activities and interests namely bottlecap collecting, solitaire and crossword puzzles. he does not bother to get to know his team mates and much less their names but his loyalty is unquestionable. His isolationist nature is what made him the best deep water diver there is. When asked why he wanted to be a Navy diver, his reply was so that, "I could be alone."

Battle Packs: Kamino Conflict

Obi-Wan Kenobi meets the bounty hunter Jango Fett on Kamino, an encounter that ends in a fierce battle. Fett is suspicious of the Jedi and tries to escape with his son Boba before he can be detained by Obi-Wan. The underlying tension in their first meeting turns into open conflict as the two skilled warriors engage each other in combat on a rain-drenched platform ..... i vaguely remember this scene from SW Episode II: Attack of the Clones, i must have fallen asleep ... think its time to get the DVD and watch it again :)

Above: Boba Fett, Jango Fett, Obi-Wan Kenobi and R4-P17.

A bit disappointed with this battle pack coz Jango is not well articulated, same goes to Lil Boba. Even Obi-Wan looks different (somehow reminded me of Lorenzo Lamas from Renegade .. haha .. remember him?). If it wasn't for the Lil Boba figure, i would have not bought this .. he made it all worth it.

ARC-170 Starfighter

The Aggressive ReConnaissance-170 starfighter, also known as the ARC-170 starfighter and Advance Recon Fighter was a heavy starfighter/bomber that saw widespread use by the Republic in the later days of the Clone Wars. Shortly before the Battle of Coruscant, a squadron of ARCs provided cover for Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin on Tythe, but mostly destroyed by droid tri-fighters. During the Galactic Civil War, ARC-170s could be found in both Imperial and Rebel fleets, where they were considered Elite craft. As with all craft commissioned by the new Empire, ARC-170s were henceforth given the standard 'Imperial gray' color scheme, doing away with the variety of colorful markings that military vessels bore to identify their squadron affiliations with during the Clone Wars.
